Don't know if anyone is planning on a visit to Nauga Field.
For the next few weeks, you may want to call before you come. The Mississippi River is getting kinda high. The ferry is shutdown. The inner levee at Angola State Pen is breached. The Bonnet Carre spillway above New Orleans has been opened. The creek behind the camp/FBO has risen due to back water.
Everything is fine now. Cutting grass as usual. Everything will be OK if we don't get a stalled front that just sits here and rains for a couple of days. There is nowhere for the water to go.
It would be greatly appreciated if you guys up river can reduce your fluid intake and flushes for a couple of weeks.

I know many pilots and a few true aviators. There is a distinct difference that I have the greatest respect for. |
