When I was crawling around in the tail of my baby last night i wondered how hard it would be to mod the baggage bay
to allow one to sleep in there, with the belly board arrangement coming over the top of the seats between the head rests
far enough to have ones legs towards the rear and lay down properly. Have any of you done this or looked at it and gave
up.

<?xml:namespace prefix="v" /><?xml:namespace prefix="o" /><![endif]--> Craig,
Spending time in the back of a Europa brings back memories. I got stuck in there one night and napped for a while or passed out, can't remember... It was hot tight and painful. It's really the pits if you need to roll over... I'll sleep on my sleeping pad in my tent any day. But then again I am used to that.

Hi! Craig
I have vowed never to get in there again. I was head first in and arms above my head so to speak and took a really bad chest cramp. With no one in earshot and no mobile ‘phone to hand I was very shaken by the time I had extricated myself. Very dangerous position to find oneself, any older builders should get a “heads up” and hire a child or a “height impaired adult “!
Regards

I can't quite understand your negative waves, Bob.I have been in there several times and enjoyed every minute.
Still remember last time when I was doing final adjustment after completing mod. 73 - a wonderful place to work - plenty of room, fresh air and light so you can se what you are doing.
Don't know, but it seems that as I get older it gets even more fun in there - other ( post 50 ) builder who have discovered the same thrill, or am I the only one??
))

Agreed Gert, I don't know what Bob is going on about either. It is a really great place to work . . . . I mean, where else can you balance on one arm while trying to do six things with the other all the time trying to levitate oneself in order not to damage the floor structure?. Some people don't seem to enjoy anything in life, do they ?
All in jest Bob and I'll have a load of garden soil too please mate !
