I just got my airplane back together finally. It was a long road. All I intended to do was replace a broken stringer and wound up replacing the stringer, the windshield, instrument panel and fuel tank. I found two rotted steel tubes on the cage which were repaired. Then recover and repaint the cage and fuselage tube.

The fuel tank I had ordered was going to hold 8 gals but since the tank doesn't sit level it only hold a little over 7 gals before in starts coming out of the filler neck. I may be able to put a hose over the neck if I ever want to fill it past 7 gals. I've attached a pic here but you can see some better ones at my web site.

Scott,

Looking forward to seeing your reconstruction in June. Your work looks good!! I hope your planning on joining us again both at Homer's and Shreveport North. Nice facility you have at your new airport and very "Green". Why the change of prop?

Hey Terry, I would like to make it down this year. If I can get my pilot's license all worked out in time I may make it. I didn't change the prop. I had it off for the rebuild. I like the Powerfin and it's already back on.
