Hello Tim,
I don't know if a second stop would improve the flap stabilization
in the up position. Having only a single stop at the outboard end
and having the inboard end being pushed up by the control pin may
do a better job in placing the flap in a locked position. By adding
a third point one of the support points won't be held snug since
the flap is over constrained. You may want to make sure that the
inboard flap stop is the shortest and only prevents the flap
from being overstretched but the material springiness should hold
the flap between outboard stop and the inboard pin.
