Where do you all buy your Pennzoil air cooled 2 cycle oil from?



I need to buy a case of 16 ounce bottles. Its hard to find locally.

Try your local NAPA auto parts store. some have it, or they can probably order it for you in case lots.

I got mine from SOPUS  in Selkirk, NY.  They wholesale but will sell direct if I show up with cash.



It was a good price because there was no shipping cost.

Thanks! My Napa store had 17 bottle for $1.99 each.

The pennzoil link would not take my zip code for some reason.

16 oz bottles?   That has to be old stock if so....Advanced Auto 

carried it for a while...I bought all of their stock so as to drive 

their inventory program...Later a friend in Glasgow,Ky found a 

supplier there and I was able to buy it for 36 bucks and change for 

24 16 oz bottles...but that was a year and a half ago...Herb

I've been buying it from Advance Auto Parts (though in 8oz bottles).  In 

the past I was buying it from

 I don't want to start an oil war with others on the list, but perhaps you  would be open to using a different brand.  Specifically  Yamalube-2.  This is a two-cycle grade of oil sold by most Yamaha  motorcycle and snowmobile dealers.  It can be used as a premix, or in  the autolube pump systems.  Yamaha has been selling this oil for many years  and it has a proven track record.  And, if you don't think that grade of  oil is suitable, they also sell Yamalube-R which was created for use in the  racing bikes under extreme conditions.  It costs a little more.   If you have a Yamaha dealer near you, check it out.

Guys, I hate to start a panic here but Pennzoil has discontinued production  of this product, the only supply out there is what is in circulation. It has  something to do with Shell buying the product line. Lockwood is testing several  new products as a replacement. Lockwood recently bought the last 500 cases  available.

 No one knows about this yet so it is a good time to stock up. Lockwood  seems to think that the replacement will be as good or better. Lockwood  originally did the testing for Rotax and Penzoil.
