I am installing Westach 712-4D6K bayonet style probes and would like to know the proper torque value for these 8mm bushings. Does anyone know of any reference where I can find this value?

Tight enough to stop the hot gas leaking, not so much as to tear
your weld off! Remember the bung is welded to very thin stainless
which isn't the strongest of metal even when its thick.

I'd also suggest some copper-based antiseize on the threads

Hi! Very slight hand torque or you will snap the hexagon collar off at it’s waist. If they leak you can still tighten them a little more.

Thanks for your inputs. Here's what I've been able to find out.  Both Phil Lockwood and Mike from Rotech Research advised that there is no Rotax spec for this. Phil said to "snug" it but not too tight. He also suggested using a high temp nickel or zinc based anti-seize compound. Mike suggested torquing it to standard torque value for 6mm fasteners (one size smaller than the 8mm bushings) which is around 90 to 100 in-lbs.
