I'm currently wiring my panel (601 XL), and temporarily connected my elevator trim switch and indicator to the servo to check operation before making final connections. I tested with a 9 volt radio battery as suggested in the instructions. The results were different than expected. I wired the servo leads so that pushing the top of the rocker will raise the nose by lowering the trim tab. This results in the indicator needle dropping below center. The indicator is showing the position of the tab rather than the resultant position of the elevator. This seems backwards to me. What is correct?

I had the same thing when I tried it. I just turned the indicator
upside down.

Turn indicator 180 degrees or swap over orange blue connections at indicator or servo

Would probably be easiest to simply swap the indicator leads to reverse the direction the meter moves. Not recommended that you mount the meter upside down.
