Hi everyone,
Just posting an update to my project status. I've just gotten started scratch building a CH-701. Just wanted to post a link to my builder's log and keep everyone updated on my progress. Here's a link to my kitlog: http://www.mykitlog.com/rengler/
Thanks

Congratulations Mr Engler,
Hang in there, you'll get it done one day.

Hit my first rookie scratch building milestone today - my rudder is complete. (All except for a few rivets that need to be installed after the pre-cover inspection is done.) It went really well, the rudder is straight and looks pretty decent for my first try at aircraft construction. I think I'm hooked on airplane building.

Got my second scratch built component done today, my elevator is now ready for it's pre-cover inspection. Here are a couple of pictures. Now I'll be moving on to the horizontal stabilizer.
