I noticed the local 701 that sits forlornly with flat tires out on the ramp
at my airport has developed a slight dip in the top which is I suspect
from the heavy load of snow on it each year. So on my 801 with that
thought in mind I made some 20x50 mm .032 L's for the fueslage top.
Might be worth a passing thought if you plan to park your plane outside.
The std L's don't provide a lot of strength.

I have done the same on mine. I ran "L" angles straight down the center
top-bottom and diagonally on both sides to help with the oil canning. It
really does tighten up all the large areas of unsupported skin.
I suspect it also adds a small amount of structure to the whole airframe.
