Here is N981MS. First flight April 2003. My wife got the painting done for me for Christmas 2007. I feel very fortunate to call that home.

Duke,
I see you do not have the center support on your skylight, are you running a heavier windscreen or is it just not required?

I am. If you are coming through Georgia, you are welcome to stop in. GE26 is on the map near Dublin and 2000 feet. That invitation goes for any of the Kitfox family.

No mention of a center support in my manual. I think that may have changed somewhere in the Series 5 run but I am not certain.

I didn't post anything because ... well, apart from the engine, it's not me who built my plane. But if you guys are collecting many Kitfox photos, here is my baby!

Looks great Lynn. Who were you visiting down there?
If I might suggest something to the listers. It would be interesting if you
folks added to your photos a few things like total building hours (yes, I
know it never really ends), engine package, month/year completed, etc.
Color me always curious,

Hi Deke-
This was taken at Napoleon Airport (3NP) just a few miles from my
(rented) field.
My build.....from 10% done when I bought it......took me 19 months,
Jabiru 2200, got the Airworthiness Certificate in March 2006, and I
soloed in it in June 2006, after I had the 40 hrs flown off for me,
and then got 2-1/2 months of instruction in it.

I broke my first windshield and when I replaced it I used the one piece that goes back to the rear spar carry thru. LP Plastics said I did not need the center support.

I just wish everyone was posting these "neat" pictures the correct way so that those unfortunate souls like me that only get the digest version, could see the pictures also.
