Kitfoxers, Has anyone tried ducting radiator heat into the cabin via scoop and flap mechanism under the cabin belly?

One of the 582 guys did, if I recall. Was it you, Dave?

I do this every year on my fox. I use an oil funnel behind the rad, than I use that orange scat tube and run it into the cabin. I use duct tape to cover the front of the rad. I cover it until I get 180 inside temps. 6 inch for 50-60degrees f. 12inch for 40-50, eventually I cover it solid except for the spot the funnel is on for down to 25degrees, after that it's just to darn cold. Around 25 is cold but with the heat coming in the windscreen is always clear, I just wear a nice coat and use my thin gloves. Make sure you seal off all air leaks.
