FYI ALL ( Will add to the website as well )
Dr. Cannon is having his 2nd annual fun fly-in June 20-21 at Owensboro, KY
(KOWB). We had a great time last year, and he's "kicking it up a notch" this
year. Plans are for arrival Fri. with hamburger cook out at the hanger. Sat.
fly all day, then a shrimp boil (or possibly catfish fry) along with a
Bluegrass band from Nashville (maybe a cameo appearance by Bill (Strings)
Walker. The new airport manager is excited about the fly-in, and is having
an airport appreciation day in conjunction. We will get fuel discounts.
The hotel of choice is the holiday inn express 270-685-2433, and mention the
fly-in. Doc does things right so you won't be disappointed. Contact # for
Dr. Cannon is 270-316-9014. Please pass this along to any warbird guys, all
are welcome.
