I am here in Texas learning out to shoot a gun out of a moving helicopter....which after what happened today, is a good thing. I was not home to see my airplane leave and take a permanent heading of west. I was not home to turn around and see an empty hangar.
My -50 will have a new home soon in the LA area. I feel confident it is going to a good home and I hope to fly her again someday...at least that has been promised.
The -50 cannot be replaced by anything within reason! What a wonderful bird and what made it more cool...was this community. What started out as a HORRIBLE buying experience, turned into the building of lasting friendships and support. My airplane would not have reached the level it did without the support of a lot of people...many on here. I learned some lessons about trust and honesty..and what you can expect from people.
So thanks everyone for making overall ownership a pleasant experience. I hope to keep in touch with most..and still continue to fly some Yaks here and there.
Be good all and be safe....
