Being near the point of installing the engine, I'd like to  know what battery options

the rest of you have chosen, and how well they seem  to work.

 Would highly recommend an Odyssey, either the 625 or, if  you can take a bit more weight, the 680.  While you're at it buy the  charger specially formatted for these two.  I fooled around with a cheap  Helios 17amphr for a few years and would always cross my fingers with cold wx  starts.  Finally got a 625 with the charger and that battery can spin a  cold Jabby like Hillary can spin a tale of sniper fire.  Now, like the V8  juice commericial, I smack myself in the noggin every time I begin the start  routine in the a/c.

Curious on what is the charger 'specially formatted' for this battery?  I plan on using the Battery Tender brand of battery maintainers like I do on my motorcycle.  I think this one works pretty well on these RG batteries.

the jab 3300 is pretty much a motorcycle battery so a charger/ maintainer from SEARs is what has worked great for mine.
