I'm not sure the first email went thru. I apologize if this is a repeat.

I need to move my Mark III Classic from NC to Ohio and plan to rent an
enclosed truck.

Can anyone tell me if i need a 24 foot or a 26 foot truck?

Jim,

Having had to rescue my MarkIIIC from Texas in 2004. Go with the 26'. I used a 24' foot. It fit but ended up with extra nose rash. Hardware and fittings on the door cut into that 24' if I remember right.

Also difficult to tie-down to prevent load shifting even a little bit. Suggest frequent stops in the first few hours to check that. Not good to get all the way home and find damage because bumpy roads shifted things around.

Bigger will be better.

Do not archive.
