I just bought another Yak-52 (third one that I've owned  over the years) 

  

 I have a good friend who is a CFI and has CASH and prior  L-29, Wilga and Yak-52 experience who is looking for someone interested in  selling their Yak-52, so that he can fly with me and do formation work,  etc...

  

 Just figured with the high cost of fuel, hangar rent,  insurance, maintenance, the real estate housing crunch, tight credit, recession,  etc., etc., that there might be someone interested in a ready to go CASH  buyer.

  

 I am in Reno, Nevada and my friend who is looking to buy a  Yak-52 is in Northern California.

  

 Appreciate any information or leads to help him get  flying.

Jerry Painter in Washington has a 1986 Yak-52 w/ 800 hrs, lower time engine and WW prop.  Stripped and ready to paint.  Asking $65K.  Phone 425-876-0865. 



I'd look into the hx...paint stripped, newer engine and prop.  Sounds like a gear up situation. Could be a great deal though and you get to do your own paint scheme!!

      I see two Yak 52's for sale at Barnstormers; one in France at  

78,000 Euros and one in the US.  On Trade-A-Plane, there is only one  

52 advertized.

I am planning to  sell my 52TW, I will place add in the usual websites but the basics are a  2003 52TW, 250 hrs, 74 gal fuel, MT 3 blade, Garmin 430, 327 xponder, 340  com, 106A GLideslope, Cleveland brakes. Battery has been moved fwd, and several  other mods.
