|
I have 2 1964 Core engines. ZE and YN case codes. They talk about retaining the baffles on the bottom of the cylinders. I do not have these baffles on either engine and I removed all the shrouds. Did the 64 not have these baffles? They seem to be easy enough to find, but will they attach to the 64 cylinders?
Thanks,
Larry Husky

Yes they will fit. Were these complete engines? The baffles are between the push rod tubs and the cylinders and are one piece and about 20 or so inches long with 2 clips that hold them.

They were complete engines. I took off a lot of metal baffling. I had to remove the heads and push rods, but never saw the baffles. Oh well,
Larry
