601XL aileron horn

Hi all.
Building 601xl ailerons. Plans 6-W-2 shows "mount flush" in the lower left corner. ZAC shows 5x25 mm cutout on front edge of skin but don't mention cutout or notch along the side. Is the horn indeed "flush" with the bottom (thus requiring a notch) or just inside the skin?

Mike- You need to recess the end rib 5MM, so the horn will be flush with
the skin. the 5mm cutout in the front is needed for the horn. Make sure the
horn is flush with the bottom of the end rib.
