My tech councilor had thing same thing happen to him. He decided to
have bypass surgery. He was grounded for about 6 months after the
surgery. And had the EAA go to bat for him with the FAA. After more
medical tests he got his license back. He drives a scratch built single seater.
Don't give up on flying just yet. We know you can still fly given
prudent med tests and proper care.

One thing you guys need to remember, Michel is from Norway. Different
rules.

Assuming the rules in Norway and the rest of Northern Europe allow a person to return to flying after treatment for heart disease it would be nice to think Michel would be back to the cockpit ASAP. On the other hand I support him on his decision whatever it may be. Like they say you never know another man until you walk a mile in his mukluks. Either way I hope he stays active here.
