Hi guys,
New models like the 650 and 750 are necessary to stay competitive. This
year a lot of LSA have polish and refinement that compete directly with
Zenith. Few offer plans, builder experience and price anywhere near as
good as the Zenith series I’d also guess the 650 changes have addressed
all past concerns with better materials, roll over protection, easier
latching, more comfortable ergonomics, strength of materials, etc. These
improvements would have to be on the drawing board for several years to
successfully work them in. I was pleased to see Zenith made these
improvements, stays abreast of the competition and still offers plans.
Way to go Nick!

Larry,

I have to agree with you. At the Zenith dinner Mathew got up and talked about all the improvements being a culmination of all the things from their different aircraft worldwide. It will make the aircraft better and reduce their inventory requirements.

He also discussed the touchy subject of wings and have had no conclusive evidence from NTSB or any of the problem aircraft which indicate same type of failure. NTSB has a full time engineer investigating these things and they have not asked Zenith to change anything. I actually thanked him for the comments.
