Hi Folks;

I am about to install the horizontal stabilizer on my KF II. Can anybody advise which hole to use to set the initial incidence??

Thanks in advance

Ken

<?xml:namespace prefix="v" /><?xml:namespace prefix="o" /><![endif]--> I used the center hole. It seemed to work ok.

ken, the most efficient rigging for the horizontal stab is where you need to hold just a little forward pressure on the stick for level cruise. If you need to hold back pressure with the mount in the top hole, drop it to the next hole down. When you find the spot that requires slight forward pressure for level flight, trim the nose down with the flaps.

A well rigged kitfox is a joy to fly.

I checked my model II and it's set in the top hole, but I don't know how
it flys as it's not repaired yet . I suspect Tom Jones is right and you
may find you it could be different for your airplane.

Thanks everyone;

Test flying will not be till late fall or early spring so I have installed it in the centre hole for now.

Tip: Drill some extra holes in the fwd attach to allow for fine
tuning. They are tough to add after the build.
