Mike

I put mine between the fuel pump and the firewall. Good location.
Don't remember exactly where I read it, but they didn't want it in the
engine compartment for heat reasons.

Also, this list is the best information source for the RV 10. I have
gained a world of experience from reading these posts. Also, Tim O's
site has the most complete information. He has also been good about
trying to pull together other helpful information for the rest of us
into one site.

Are you putting one 3500 or two screens?

Fred.

Is everyone putting in the Alternate Air kit that Vans sends. If so where are most of you putting the pull knob in the cockpit. I was thinking about putting it to the lower frame next to your (pilot's) ankles. Seems to be out of the way yet available in an emergency.

I have gotten many conflicting opinions as to where to place the red cube flo-scan device that comes with the Advanced AFS3500 kit.
1. In the tunnel near the fuel pump (seems cool and logical).
2. Just in front of the outlet on the firewall engine side
3. Just before the fuel injection distribution manifold. Advised by Lycoming

Boy , as a first time builder it would be great if a veteran builder would put together a complete - "completion guide" for the RV10. It would be really worth it to a lot of us novice 1st time builders.
