I use Evans coolant in my Rotax 912ULS and have from initial fill. My

engine has 168 hours on it since first start last December. I noticed

today that my Evans coolant is darker than it was initially. In the jug,

Evans is nearly clear, but now it has a definite brownish tint. Is this

cause for concern? My engine runs nicely and the temps are always within

the green arcs. I change oil every 50 hours. I started with Mobil 1 but

at last oil fill started using Aeroshell Sport Plus 4.

I had the same concerns. I read the Evans paper work and it says this is

normal.  It will eventually turn dark brown.
