Hi
After 5 years and 400 hours I am thinking of changing the nose wheel bungee
this winter. Does anyone have a bungee installation tool that I could
borrow? I would be happy to pay the freight to Alaska and back.

Off floats and back on wheels.
Thinking of keeping the 82" prop on and installing an AL block to raise the
nose.

Bill. You can do this for lack of a better tool. Attached is a photo of a Breaker bar I use. 1/2" I think. I cut the handle down to allow use while my rotax 912 is still installed. I cut it to suit so that it just misses everything. One hand has the necessary leverage to lift on and off. You have to slip the bungee onto the tool before lowering it. Installing a new one is easier. I have no plans on buying a tool as this works fine. I havn't tried it yet with all the hoses and cables in place....Geoff

Bill, I have a home made rig that I used for our plane. You are welcome to use it if you want. Kind of heavy tho.
