Wow! I just downloaded and printed out the 9 page Zenair Photoguide to properly checking and retensioning 601 airframe cables, and I must say I'm really impressed by it's scope and content.



Should be considered required reading for y'all. IMHO.

If you don't want to build Larry McFarland's simple and dirt cheap tension gauge Spruce sells the Burroughs gauge shown in the Zenith pictorial for well under $200.

Either way the pictorial shows the easy way to calibrate these.
