Newer Strobes ~ 1A
Nav lights ~ 1A if that much
Radio ~ 500 ma receive / up to 5A Tx. You should have plenty of power!

582 Drivers C I am rebuilding a Mod 3 that was originally equiped with a 912 that I am installing a 582 in. the plane has strobes C nav lights and a radio. I fear that my lighting coil will not put out enough power to handle all those electrics. I remember seeing a set up for an auxillary alternator belt drive off of the prop hub. C maybe from CPS C I don't know. I remember that it seemed to cost 3 X what I thought it should. Anyone out there have experience with one or have designed one yourself.

Pat,
I have a set of really old strobes (circa 1989) that I run along with a Microair 760 radio. No nav lights. There seems to be plenty of power for these and to keep the battery well charged.
