Kitfoxers, I am looking for an oil tank like the one on the Classic IV $21750 on barnstormers. It is mounted on firewall just behind bluehead 582. Can't find in catolog. Owner not builder, can't help. Hey, John McBean you don't sell that tank do you?

That looks like the tank I have on my mod one.
and I bought it from John. I also bought another
for the mod 111 I'm building. He also has a great
water bottle thats square and mounts flat on the
firewall.

thanks for the reply rick,this will be my number 3 on the sending unit.I
like you thought maybe vibration, the last one I isolated it from the plane,
by just hanging it from the bulkhead just by plastic ties,but that did not
seem to help.like you the last time I just replaced the sending unit,not the
gauge to,vans only sells them as a unit together,might be a reason but I can
not see why, they are not matched to each other, as they have dates on the
back of each unit that that are different dates,so they are not made at the
same time,beginning to have a bunch of vans gauges only around, would like
to find a place to just buy the sender it self, with out the gauge

oops sorry guys,hit the wrong list button, I read the kit fox list to, used
to have a speedster,thinking about building another,getting to old to keep
climbing in and out the rv6a,
