Hi,,

looking through my parts manual for the following:

I want to replace all the "handle knobs" ie. fuel shut off knob, gear knob, mixture knob, carb air knob, Prop knob, throttle knobs etc.

Mine are really tired and faded, I can't find part numbers for these, they appear at the back with the consoles.. but no parts are listed (other than the complete assemble lever and all)

Has anyone changed these, (I think of seen some nice new ones in pictures of others ships) and if so, do you have part numbers?

thanks

Skid

Why not have them powder coated in your colors of choice.

Tom,
We talked about this and were wondering if the plastic handles would stand up under the heat of baking during the powder coating process.

And Skid, I checked and the only way the levers are available is as an assembly, can't buy just the knobs. I do have most in stock.

Doug, Hal's have been redone and I was told that they were powder coated. In any case what ever system was used they look great much better than
factory new.

Just had some powder coating done for my project. One of the items I made had nylon insert anchor nuts installed. They refused to process for that reason. Replaced with all metal nuts, no more problem.

Mike; The control quadrant knobs usually come up very nicely after a thorough cleaning and polish. Give it a try.

Cheers;
Walt
