Interesting, if a bit formulaic. And a bit late.

Back on a Grumman track. I hear that MT will be offering a line of fixed
pitch props in the US. Hopefully, they'll offer something for the Grummans.

I'm not so sure I'd be interested in a fixed MT prop. (I'm not sold on the
CS MT Prop) Even if you could make it 10% more efficient, you wouldn't gain
that much. I've been working with a company that overhauls props with a
custom pitch and I've seen a rate of climb increase with an increase in cruise
speed on a McCauley on a Cheetah. And, for a lot less money than a new prop.

would the prop pitching require the HC? no, but, without it, I doubt you'll
see much difference.
