Dear List,
It's time to think about wing walk material. I could go with the
standard Vans RV-10 material or the (near) clear wing walk material
offered by ACS. Are there any other (good) options available that are
visually appealing and functional or does anyone have a preference on
one material over another?

Thanks,
Robin

I was thinking about ths (at) OSH and snapped a couple of pics, I've
decided NOT to use White, but to use the black. Here's a couple that I
like and also solved a question I was having about whether to cover the
wing root section as well. I still haven't decided on the material but
am leaning towards the 3M

I suggest you look at the plans and check where the reinforced areas are.
That's where you want the wing walk material. It's a guide to where your
passengers can put their weight and not damage your aircraft. The areas do
not seem to include any part of the wing tank or the fuselage fairing
forward of the main spar.

I tried the clear material and was not happy with it. It is almost
impossible to get it down without some bubbles in it and you can see those
very clearly. I tried all the tricks for applying vinyl to no avail so
finally removed it and got the black rubber stuff that MAC servo people
sell. They will cut it to your specs.
