My YAK like most others is missing the seals under the rear seat where the flap actuator push pull tube goes out into the wing. Does anyone have a suggestion of a design and material that works well for a replacement. I'm trying to make the back seat a little less drafty for my GIB and maybe keep out a little CO in the process.

Although not as perfect as the original covers, I cut a piece of leather to fit over the flap rod hole opening and cut a "spoke" type pattern in the leather that has a vertical cut in it so as to be able to slide the leather over the flap rod and place it against the inside of the fuselage. Affix the leather to the inside of the fuselage with contact cement. It will keep a lot of the drafty air from freezing the ankles off your GIB.
