Yeah, yesterday was a good day for high groundspeeds in SoCal. Flew from San Diego to Mojave with a brutal headwind. But it turned into a great tailwind on the way home. 11,500' on the return; 205 KT groundspeed (110 KIAS). Fun while it lasted, and even smooth air over the mountains.

I saw 247kts maximum ground speed and 40.8 kts minumum......backwards! That's -40.8kts if there is such a thing!
Very intersting transition from slow flight to cruise.....the GPS speed decreased with application of power...all the way to 0 then climbed back up....
