I just got notice that Superior is filing for bankruptcy. Â First I've heard of it. Great Deals on Dell Laptops. Starting at $499.

Wow! I've been getting court notices for maybe two months. Don't know
why I get them. I'll dig one oput of the trash if you're interested. I

I believe that Lycoming bought them out. There goes one of their competitors and higher prices for Lyc parts! TCM has already increased prices on some of their parts.

Let's hope that ECI steps in and fills the void. I think they have most all of the parts that Superior had PMA'd anyhow. It's the Continental parts that are going to suffer more I think. Continental (TCM) just raised the price of an IO-550 crankshaft by $6000! And a set of cylinders is now about $3000 more than Milleniums.

I believe that the rights to manufacture Millennium cylinders are in limbo. Cannot be produced. Anyone have info on this?
As I have these cylinders on my Tiger and prefer them to Lycoming cylinders, I hope they continue to be available.
