Hi Mark and Jim,
My panel hinges out about 45 deg, have rubber mounted it with Lord mounts onto 1/4" 12 ply, held closed with 2 washer head screws one on each end. Works real well for me. Access just great. 4 pics att.

Buz,
Give me time, I just got home from the hospital with my new hip. May be able to get in the airplane around March 1.
BTW, I didn't take the camera with me to the hospital, but I thought about your request for a pix with my pretty little nurse as the was removing my catheter Thursday. I told her about the missed opportunity and she blushed.

Glad to hear all went well with the hip replacement. Does it weight more than the original? You know you have to watch that gross weight for your next world recored.
It had slipped my mind that you had the hip replacement scheduled. I do wish you had taken that camera. You and your nurse would have made a great centerfold for the newsletter. So get well soon, and get Echo Foxtrot back in the air. I look forward to seeing you at Sun-N-Fun. Also, I like your idea about you leading a tour through the Carib. Who else but an ex-navy pilot would know where all the nude beaches are. DO NOT FORGET YOUR CAMERA.
