The 100 hours on a Homebuilt applies to aircraft moving from the US to Canada. In Canada we have a final inspection where you do not in the US. Canada considers the 100 hours that have been flown as the equivalent to a final inspection. Without the 100 hours a final inspection is required which means opening up all the closed parts. I have not heard that there has been a change.
