My father recently passed away and the 601XL project that we were building for him is for sale. We have the the 2700cc Corvair half assembled with many WW parts. The rudder, elevator, horizontal stab, main spars, are complete. Fuselage is started. we have the dual stick option and were planning a tail dragger but we're not far enough along with the fuse so it can go back to the nose dragger version. Selling all of it. would like to get 15k for everything, all reasonable offers will be entertained. I would like the engine and plane to go together but might consider parting the two.

please use the jlr262(at)yahoo.com email account, the US Navy blocks most emails that look like spam so the judson.rupert(at)navy.mil account will not work. I've received two emails from someone that I cannot see, so please send to the yahoo account.

All, I have to move this project, mostly to make room for the other airplane my father left me. I will entertain all offers. I know with the economy the way it is, it's not a very good time to be unloading a project, that being said, I won't give it away either. So again, all reasonable offers will be entertained.

Engine is sold, the rest goes for $7k OBO.

I really need to move this project, We have over $7k invested, but I'd let it go for $6k. Anyone that has interest, I'd be willing to trade, barter, whatever, I just need the room in the garage!
Again the engine is already sold so it's just the plane. I have plans #6847, and all the parts minus wing skins and flap skins. rudder, elevator, horizontal stab, ailerons, main spars built. This was a TD version with dual sticks...

OK, I now have a garage full of airplane parts and this project absolutely has to go if I want to work on anything else...
$5k takes it, I can't go any lower. Anyone interested please give me a call or email me.

Project is sold, thanks for all the inquiries. The project is going to Roy, UT to one Mr. Reese Nelson. Hopefully he'll find this website as useful as my father and I did.
