Thanks Mike ! My first car was a TR3 when I was 18. Nostalgia thing for me now. I restored both and the Stag. Will sell the Stag and probably get another project. Car or plane ,don't know yet. I have a 'hankering" for a 701 or maybe a project Kitfox to install a Rotec.

holy crap... and you had the testicular fortitude to include a picture of a short wing piper death trap. You must like living on the edge Smile

On a serious note, very nice stable of toys!

Talk to these guys, Snake. Don't let the poor boys kill themselves.

Leonard,
That is the only picture I have of my toys together. I sold "the death trap" and I do have to say I sure miss it! What a great cross country airplane! The higher wing loading sure made for a more comfortable ride in the winds we have been having! I do fly my Kitfox a lot more though, probably because 4 gal per hour vs 8 is easier to live with and in reality I think the Kitfox is more fun for local flying plus I have made a lot of improvements on the Fox that make it even better.
I was going to sell one of my TR3's but I can't part with it as it is just to much fun to drive so I am going to take it to my cabin in North Carolina leave it there, and drive the (please excuse me) mountains. I grew up in Colorado so maybe I should say hills but it is the best we have in this part of the country and they are very pretty!
