Pat,
The light blue lines and the white stripes are all vinyl tape. It works out real well and is very easy to do. I will see if I have a before and after picture in my archives.

The white stripes were 1 inch tapes and the dark blue edging were 1/4 inch tapes.

Dick C My plane had standard doors that I converted to the observation doors similar to yours. How do you like those doors? I had to redo mine anyway as I widened the cabin 4 1/2" after seeing Murle Williams widening kit. I also redid the latches with a bar that latches front and rear. And I purchased the gas struts for the doors from KF.
