                 Hold Harmless Release Form

  

 To whom it may concern:

  

   I C(Seller)____________________ C sell the following aircraft C (or parts C or whatever) C to (Buyer)________________________ C on this date___________.

  

   Prior to agreeing to the purchase of this aircraft (or parts C etc) C the Buyer is advised of the following C and accepts ALL risks contained therein:

  

   This aircraft C (or parts C etc) is sold with the thorough understanding it composed of NON-CERTIFIED parts C that is C parts that the FAA has not deemed suitable for aircraft construction.

 Such parts may include C but not be limited to C hardware store bolts and fittings C home-made

 items and other types of brackets and fasteners C that are used to construct this aircraft.

   This aircraft C (or parts C etc.) does NOT comply with any Federal quality requirements C for use as a certified aircraft C and any use of this aircraft (or parts C etc) is at the expressed acknowledgement of the Buyer that he accepts all risks involved.    buyer's initials________

  

   Buyer further understands and agrees that building an aircraft has many unforeseen risks.  These risks may include C but are not limited to C aircraft parts longevity C allowable tolerances C parts used for manufacturer's non-intended uses C undersized fasteners C (which may include C but are not limited to; nuts C bolts C cables C screws C rivets C fabric C paint C tubing C etc.)

   Buyer fully understands and accepts that this aircraft (or parts C etc) is not manufactured C nor tested C by ANY qualifying entity C either federal or private.  Buyer accepts the responsibility that he will thoroughly inspect C repair C create C or otherwise bring this aircraft (or parts C etc) up to a FULLY flyable C fully dependable C fully capable aircraft C prior to it's intended use.

   Buyer also acknowledges that ALL aircraft in the USA are regulated by the FAA (Federal Aviation Authority).  The buyer will license C have inspected C and maintain this aircraft to ALL legal requirements of ALL controlling agencies C including C but not limited to C federal C state C and local requirements and laws. 

  

   Buyer is to have this aircraft (or parts C etc) inspected by a competent C fully licensed FAA "A & P mechanic" C with the powers necessary to state whether this aircraft (or parts C etc) is safe C flyable C and completely authorized for it's intended uses.  Buyer is NOT to operate C use C or put into service C said aircraft (or parts C etc) without such inspection and approval by such authorized inspector.

   It is also completely understood by Buyer C that Seller has no control whatsoever of the completed construction C maintenance C modification C alteration C change of design C use C or any other method where Buyer can deviate from what Seller created C built or assembled.  Seller does NOT control what Buyer does!                   Buyer's initials_____________

  

   Buyer agrees to fully comply with ALL laws C rules C guidelines C etc. of all governing entities C with regard to building C repairing C flying C maintaining C and using this aircraft (or parts C etc) 

 Any failure of Buyer to act in ANY unlawful C unauthorized C illegal C or otherwise prohibited fashion C is solely the fault and actions of the Buyer.             Buyer's initials_____________

  

   Lastly C Buyer understands and accepts it is his C and ONLY his C responsibility to see that this aircraft (or parts C etc) is/are trustworthy C and will safely perform as expected.  Seller has no  

 ability to control Buyer's further actions C in any regard C with reference to this transaction.

 Sellers liability ends with this sale C and any future action by Buyer is at Buyer's expense C both monetarily and physically.
