Spaceballs aficionados will recall a scene with
Mr. Coffee
and Mr. Radar...
Mr. Beer is what I used to brew my own beer in college prior to being of legal age to drink. Though you could not buy beer, you could buy yeast, and grain. I was persistent enough to make my own beer, now I'm persistent enough to build my own plane. The brew actually turned out pretty good, and given the time I'll make it again, but I find that I don't have the patience to wait three weeks for beer now when all I want is a cold one. Quickly.
Absolutely do not archive.

Looks pretty good. You've got the best of both worlds there.

I also intend to install the CH 650 canopy on my 601XL fuselage. Do you have a site with pics on your process thus far? Is that wing root fairing I see riveted on the side of the fuse? If so, I would be interested in details on the fairing.
Thanks,

The wing root fairing is standard for the HD. the rear portion is just standard L angle. The forward portion which wraps around the leading edge is made with a very malleable aluminum... I believe it is 1100 series if I recall correctly. The stuff is awesome to work with, it makes it relatively easy to form tricky shapes with metal. You can hammer it with a small mallet, and smooth it out with the end of a paint stick (or any other wood)
