|
|
Hello there,
My fuel lines currently route inside the cockpit, which is obviously not "by the book" and involves bends plus quite awful firewall crossing.
I would like to revert to the standard way, but the manual is not very clear to me, with no detailed drawing.
Any indications, pictures, tips and tricks... will be welcome.

Hi! Jean
I took my lines up the tunnel straight into the engine bay through the
stainless firewall. My system does not have the standard filters in the
seat pan neither the standard sight gauge. I have Andair Mini
Gascolators but Mine is now dedicated to be a trike so if you are Mono
construction you may not be able to do it this way? All my fuel module
is on a tray in the unused wheel well.

the neatest installation I have seen is Bryan Fogg's. Going throuhg the
stainless firewall is messy and stainless steel tends to cut things, not
good imho.

But if there develops a leak for whatever reason, whether in flight or
after a crash landing, you are sitting with your feets in a bath tub.
Not good imho too.
