List
Its probably on the drawings right under my nose but I haven't found
it. I have a Zenith main gear and Grove wheels and axles. How far from
the end of the gear up to the axles? The gear would allow them to be
moved up or down at least and inch. There is a hole pattern in the
drawing but no vertical location. Help.

I installed mine with the flats of the axles flush with the bottom of
the main gear spring. If in doubt, the aircraft should sit level on
its gear, level the fuselage and check that the nose wheel and main
wheels hang on the same level.

Just make sure that you allow for sufficient "meat" around the bolt holes. Also, use great care when drilling so that all four holes are perfectly aligned. With the thickness of the axle base being what it is the holes have to be perfectly aligned or you may not get the bolts to go in without binding. I ended up having a machinist friend drill the holes on a mill.
