I saw on a forum that you had this problem. Can you tell me where I can find the fuse to change ?
Thank you

The Baklan 5 radio has a circuit breaker (no fuse) on the left hand console. It is the last one in the series of 8 breakers and the one closest to the main air valve.

T.U. Means "TITS UP" or no longer working, inoperative, or broken in American slang.

It means "tits up" or in other words, broken.

Something in the back of my mind is telling me that there is also as fuse in the radio mount itself.
BUT.... since I do not own a YAK-52 and I don't have a mount right in front of me, don't quote me.

The position your tits are in when your laid in the box or the position your
female was left in when you finished assuming missionary was where you
started. Tits up. Worn out. Deceased. Broken beyond repair.
Some more of that fighter pilot humor.

Vincent,
FWIW - from the -52 schematics (actual install could vary of course) there are no other fuses shown between the breaker and the Baklan 5.
However between the power bus and the breaker there is a 30 amp fuse that feeds the Baklan 5, intercom, gear/flap/lamp test lights, PAG1 inverter & the G meter ... if this has blown then I'm sure you would have noticed! In any case if it has then you would need to seek professional advice to fault find further.

That's great. Sorry for sounding so dumb, but what is and where is the "radio trail" you mentioned. I would like to try and find this fuse in the schematics as well as the physical location. Thanks very much.

Hello,
The fuse is behind the rack of the radio amplifier behind the rear seat.

OK. Thanks Vincent. Much appreciated. I will check the Yak 52 schematics and see if I can find it.
