Derek,
E-225 vs E-185 is basically Crankshaft with 5th order damper, cam shaft
& accessory gear, motor mount support legs & motor mounts. Performance
is negligible in cruise. Depending upon the E-185 dash #, takeoff rpm
can be anywhere from 2300 to 2600 and horse power 185 to 205 . E-225 rpm
2650.
If you are flying a Bonanza, you must change the wobble pump to the
later model pump if you convert to the E-225. Bonanzas also limit horse
power greater than 185 to 1-minute by reducing rpm to 2300.

From: "caveboy_98" <caveboy(at)hit.net>
Have a question regarding the Cont E-185 and E-225. Whats the differents in parts
between the engines. As I know they use alot of the same parts but was wondering
what parts are different in making the E-225 vs the E-185.
thanks
