I've enlarged the holes for the brake line exit points near the gear leg fairings to 5/8" diameter as per the instructions in Sections 28 (Fwd Fuse) and Sections 36 (Brake Lines), however the AN837-4D 45 degree elbow passes straight through the hole!
Is this an error in the plans or my interpretation, have I missed something here?
I guess the way out of this is to make up some shims, any thoughts or suggestions please.

The skin hole is oversized, and the hole in the landing gear weldment should be the proper size and the fitting is mounted on the weldment and the hole in the skin is a clearance hole. If you drilled out the weldment to 5/8", then you'll need to make a plate with a smaller hole and patch it in.
