I recently bought a Tow Bar from Larry McFarland and wanted to say that it is very well made, compact, light and easy to carry on board. Larry has posted the plans for those that are better welders than I am.

Mike,

I bought Larry's tow bar and strut ring. I positioned the strut ring so that if the bungee should break, the ring would contact the bottom of the strut mount before the prop contacts the ground (at least I hope it does).

Larry MacFarlane is a good guy. I bounced several questions off him when building my first 701 (even though he IS a low wing guy). Smile Smile
