Hi all,
What are you using to display the airworthiness and registration. I was trying to find a heavy gauge vinyl pouch but they only come in lots of like 500. Thanks.

John,
One alternative, search for license holders on Aircraft Spruce. Various sizes available.
Or go to
http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/pspages/license_holdr.php

I made mine, but Aircraft Spruce has several sizes that should work.

John

John, I don't think there is any requirement to "display" either of those documents. I simply keep those documents, and the weight and balance paperwork in a ZipLock sandwich bag, in my map box.

I thought the airworthiness certificate was supposed to be displayed?

Yes there is a requirement.

The requirement to display your Airworthiness certificate can be found in FAR 91.203 (b).  http://www.airweb.faa.gov/REGULATORY_AND_GUIDANCE_LIBRARY%5CRGFAR.NSF/0/66D3B72B27064346852566CF0067934D?OpenDocument

"(b) No person may operate a civil aircraft unless the airworthiness certificate required by paragraph (a) of this section or a special flight authorization issued under Sec. 91.715 is displayed at the cabin or cockpit entrance so that it is legible to passengers or crew."

Last I checked C if your RV has an N number C then you are a CIVIL aircraft in the U.S.

The Airworthiness Certificate in my RV's is displayed consistent with the requirements of FAR. Attached to the structure with Velco, the black bordered certificate holder is large enough to partially display the registration document but doing so is not strictly necessary. I stow the other required documents inside a clearly labeled business size envelope.

In addition to other sources, you can purchase a certificate holder from Wicks:
