There was a thread here a few weeks ago about the 180 degree oil thermostat on the 912...there have been reports on the 180 Permacool not bringing the temp up in cold temps(140F), and bypassing enough oil to cause high temps in hot weather(in the yellow), thus my reason for not having installed the one sitting on my shelf for the last 6 months or so.(Somebody asked what my problem was with the thermostat...well, there you go). Anyway there is a basic explanation for why this may be occuring at www.thermostasis.com . Look at Rotax 912 installation FAQ, bearing in my mind that these folks are selling thermostats. I found more detailed info at http://www.wingsforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=18036, the info coming from the same thermostasis source...has anybody had experience with these thermostats and could you pass it along
Thx Joe
