Hi
can someone tell me if the rear side fuse diagonal L angles actually tie into the verticals ? Are they attached to the vertical L angles by rivets or do they just stop short. and if they don't attach to the vertical L's how is it stronger or is it just to stop the oil canning like the wings are..

I don't know the details of how the diagonals are installed, they
weren't included in my early kit. It is my understanding though that
they are there to stop the oil canning of the skin, not to add any
real strength to the structure.

Oil canning only.  They do not tie in at either end.  That is per the plans and a conversation with Roger at ZAC.

Chris

The diagonal L-angles do not tie into the verticals. It is just to stiffen the fuselage sides and stop oil canning.
