It seemed like a rather momentous occasion today since the Hartzell CS prop got mounted to the front of the 'ol RV-8 project!! Yahoo! I really like the looks of the non-blended airfoil blades. They just have a more traditional, mean and manly look, IMHO. The 72" dia also has those fatter paddles which looks cool too.

Just two weeks from initial engine mounting to prop installation. The FWF controls and wiring are done too. All of the CHT/EGT/PSI probes even worked the first time!

Anyway, just thought I'd share. Cowling goes on next, then the baffling... Wish me luck. Wink

Looks great Matt. Won't be long and it will have air under it. Nice looking airplane.
